Try the open air dining option at the Harraseeket Inn’s Broad Arrow Tavern. You’ll love the gorgeous gardens, the locally-sourced foods, and the view to Main Street. All just a couple of blocks from downtown Freeport.

Linda Bean’s Maine Kitchen & Topside Tavern offers something truly unique – outdoor dining around a firepit! Right on Main Street just across from the L.L.Bean Flagship Store, the sidewalk dining tables each have their own firepit – great fun in the evening and perfect when it’s a bit chilly. Grab a lobster roll or chowder at the Freeport Chowder House or Linda Bean’s Perfect Maine Lobster Roll and head to Leon Gorman Park, within a block of downtown Freeport. Dine in the gazebo or spread out a blanket and enjoy. Or, pick up some lunch at Bow Street Market and drive over to Winslow Park or Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park. They’re both oceanfront and just a few miles from town.
