Azure Cafe offers some of the best outside dining in Freeport. Sit on their stone patio, order a cocktail, and enjoy the people watching right on Maine Street.
The Freeport Seafood Company’s outside deck in the largest outside dining area in Freeport. Overlooking a children’s play yard, it’s a perfect location to bring the whole family. You’ll find great deals on seafood, live music on Fridays, and the best homemade potato chips!
Try the open air dining option at the Harraseeket Inn’s Broad Arrow Tavern. You’ll love the gorgeous gardens, the locally-sourced foods, and the view to Main Street. All just a couple of blocks from downtown Freeport.
Linda Bean’s Maine Kitchen & Topside Tavern offers something truly unique – outdoor dining around a firepit! Right on Main Street just across from the L.L.Bean Flagship Store, the sidewalk dining tables each have their own firepit – great fun in the evening and perfect when it’s a bit chilly. Choose from a variety of lobster options and check out the lobster touch tank while you’re there.
The Lobster Cooker’s fast friendly service and larger outside dining patio are a great choice when you’re looking for a traditional Downeast Maine seafood meal. Also, on Main Street, you’ll enjoy people watching while you sample their must-have chowder or boiled lobster dinner.
You can dine on the heated patio at Petrillo’s Italian year-round, but when the weather warms up, they roll up the walls and welcome in the sun and fresh air. Located on Bow Street next to the Downeaster Train Station, its the perfect place to stop if you’re just in on the train, or whenever you’re in the mood for some delicious, fresh Italian-inspired foods.
Grab a lobster roll or chowder at the Freeport Chowder House or Linda Bean’s Perfect Maine Lobster Roll and head to Leon Gorman Park, within a block of downtown Freeport. Dine in the gazebo or spread out a blanket and enjoy. Or, pick up some lunch at Bow Street Market and drive over to Winslow Park or Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park. They’re both oceanfront and just a few miles from town.
