Freeport’s finest chefs and top food artisans prepare award winning tastes of their best dishes to showcase their culinary skill and style. Attendees vote on their favorite display and “flavor” and are entered to win fabulous door prizes! Will award winning executive chef Christopher Bassett of Azure Cafe take first place again this year? You be the judge!
Plus, sip local hand crafted beer, wine and spirits compliments of Maine purveyors.
A silent art auction featuring pieces from the Freeport Art & Music Festival will also be held during the event to benefit the Freeport Community Services Food Pantry. 21+ Event
Ice Bar

The ice bar will feature a martini luge, ice sculptures, roaring fires to cozy up to, music, Buck’s Naked BBQ will be on hand cooking up some delicious, HOT BBQ in their smoker and Coffee By Design will be there with some of their amazing brews for you to sample!
Bundle up in your warmest winter wear and enjoy a night of festivities outside in February with family and friends. One ticket to the ice bar gains the holder (21 years and older) entrance and one beverage – additional beverage tickets can be purchased on site.
Free Guided Snowshoe Tour (Or Hike if no snow!) and Sunset Bonfire Party
Saturday, February 16, 2pm to 5pm at the Best Western Freeport Inn & Cafe
Grab your snowshoes and join us at the Best Western Freeport Inn for a FREE guided snowshoe tour of the Cousins River Trail from 2pm to 3pm. http://freeportconservationtrust.org/areas/cousins-river-trails/
After the tour, head back to the Best Western Freeport Inn for a Sunset Bonfire Party! We will have a marshmallow smores station with every type of chocolate bar and graham cracker imaginable! Roast your smores to perfection around a bonfire as the sun sets over the Royal River marsh.
Bring family and friends for a snowman making contest! Get creative and make a snowlady, snowdog, snowkitty… it’s up to you!
Coffee and cocktails also served until 5pm.

Winter Hill Farm – Creamery Tour
35 Hill Farm Road, Freeport, Saturday, February 16, 2pm to 4pm
*please note this is a weather-dependent event. In inclement weather, this event will be canceled. Parking is limited so please carpool if possible!
Winter Hill Farm is the only working dairy and certified creamery in Freeport. We milk a very rare breed of cattle- the Randalls, which were once found on many homesteads and farms throughout New England. We are currently one of the only dairies in the world to milk this breed commercially. Come meet the cows, see where and how they are milked, and walk through our creamery where we make small batches of artisanal cheeses and yogurt. Tours will start every half hour, starting at 2 pm. We will be offering some samples and have cheeses for sale as well.
