About once a month, Freeport eClub consumer members will receive news and notes about Freeport happenings and upcoming Freeport events, Lifestyle Features, notices of new discount offers and special sales from our Freeport Merchants Association partners, Recipes and cooking tips, plus much, much more.
All Freeport eClub members are eligible for regular monthly prize drawings. There will be extra opportunities to win, too, with special contests announced from time to time.

As an FMA member you get to use this valuable marketing tool FREE OF CHARGE.
New FMA “Best of Freeport for Less” Coupons are issued twice per year.
Valid dates run from January 1st thru June 30th and July 1st thru December 31st.

FIC - FMA Info Center (Seasonal)
In addition to our year-round information facility, FMA maintains a seasonal Freeport Information Center (FIC) in the downtown village core. This optional feature is an excellent opportunity for many of our members.
Last year, highly versed FIC staff members personally handed over 30,000 Freeport Visitor Guides to the public, along with answers to countless thousands of questions, directions and recommendations. An even higher number of rack cards, brochures and menus are cheerfully delivered to visitors along with a warm welcome to Freeport.
The fully staffed Freeport Information Center generally operates from the weekend before July 4th thru Columbus Weekend in mid October.
It’s very much like hiring a full time staff to stand on Main Street and direct customers to your door. However, as a co-op marketing opportunity through your FMA membership, it’s much more affordable than doing it on your own. You can have your business featured at FIC for only $350 for the entire season. Spaces are limited.

AAA Members Appreciation Weekend 2008
The Freeport Merchants Association and AAA Northern New England will be hosting this event on April 27-29, 2007 from 10am-3pm.
All AAA members are eligible for prize drawings, including hotel & dining giveaways, gift certificates & merchandise from Freeport Area merchants! In addition, the first 1,000 AAA Members to register at the Freeport Merchants Association will receive a FREE AAA tote bag filled with area merchant coupons and an assortment of goodies!
This event is being heavily promoted to the more than 800,000 AAA members in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

June 29 thru July 3rd
An estimated 15,000 people will attend the Region One Youth Soccer Championship Tournament in Maine over a five-day schedule. These teams will book over 3,000 lodging rooms in our area and spend an estimated 9.4 million dollars in the local economy. This will be the biggest soccer tournament ever to occur in Maine.
All events are in Falmouth or Brunswick. Freeport is a great center location with lots to see and do for these enthusiastic visitors. We want to welcome them properly!
FMA’s Fall in the Village Art Festival features more than 100 artists and draws thousands of visitors to Freeport at a wonderful time of year.
This is an excellent opportunity for the community and your business. For 2007 there are new marketing opportunities for all members.

It’s a series of musical performances and wine, beer, and spirits events along with the first annual Chef’s Signature Series. Each business arranges their own entertainment, food sampling, and/or libation specials.
