Bean’s Discovery Park is also the site of the summertime Maine arts favorite, Summer in the Park. A mix of fairs, family activities and live musical concerts, this summer arts series brings many wonderful live musical acts to Freeport, Maine – and it’s free!
Freeport is home to historically rich art galleries, an array of artisan jewelers, and unique boutiques filled with artful surprises, Maine made products, and one-of-a-kind selections. The Freeport Fall Festival
One of the most respected and popular Art Festivals in Maine is the annual FreeportUSA Freeport Fall Festival. Scheduled this year 2014 for October 4th and 5th, it attracts thousands of people to Freeport for a day of art, music, and fun. Over 100 artists exhibit works ranging from photography oil, watercolor, mixed media, fine craft, and jewelry set to the tunes of live musical performances throughout the day.
New for 2014, we’re adding a delicious selection of Maine food producers to the Festival! Hosted on the L.L.Bean campus in Freeport, the two-day event is free and includes children’s art activities and music for the whole family. Plan to spend the day in Freeport, visit the artists, listen to music, and visit hundreds of great stores, outlets, and boutiques located within a couple of blocks from the Festival!.
